Marco Vigorelli AWARD - II Edition



La Fondazione Marco Vigorelli ha istituito un premio intitolato all’omonimo economista, senior partner di Accenture, scomparso nel 2002, a beneficio di giovani laureati o ricercatori delle seguenti istituzioni accademiche:

-          Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore - sede di Milano;
-          Università Bocconi, Milano;
-          LUISS Università Guido Carli, Roma;
-          Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”;
-          Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”;
-          Università degli Studi Roma Tre.

Possono concorrere gli elaborati aventi per oggetto:

-         la conciliazione come leva strategica della responsabilità sociale di impresa;  
-         strumenti, policy, indici e standard relativi al work-life balance;
-         benefici azienda-dipendente nelle politiche di conciliazione (misurazione e best practices).


Il Premio è dell’importo di Euro 1.500 (al lordo delle ritenute di legge) e la scadenza per la presentazione delle domande è il 31 ottobre 2014.

FINALITÀ
Premiare le tesi di laurea o di dottorato di giovani studiosi che, contestualizzando i cambiamenti della società e i nuovi approcci delle imprese alle necessità di conciliazione dei propri dipendenti, analizzino e individuino gli strumenti di welfare aziendale esistenti, innovativi e/o maggiormente utilizzati, con particolare focus sui processi di implementazione degli stessi e, successivamente, di misurazione di risultati/benefici.

CRITERI DI VALUTAZIONE
Qualità dell’analisi dell’attuale scenario socio-economico. Valutazione delle strategie adottate dalle aziende in materia di conciliazione. Analisi delle opportunità per le aziende, relativamente alla possibilità di implementare strumenti di conciliazione e di valutazione dell’efficacia degli stessi. Presenza di casi di studio pratici e/o di analisi comparative.

REQUISITI
Le tesi di laurea o di dottorato partecipanti dovranno essere state discusse presso gli istituti accademici indicati non prima del 1° marzo 2013.

SCADENZA
Per partecipare al Premio i candidati dovranno far pervenire, entro e non oltre il 31 ottobre 2014, all’indirizzo info@marcovigorelli.org (oggetto: Premio Marco Vigorelli 2014):
·          modulo di partecipazione al concorso con indicazione dei dati anagrafici, dell’indirizzo di residenza, del recapito, dei riferimenti telefonici e indirizzo mail, del codice fiscale, del titolo della tesi con l’indicazione del relatore;
·          scansione del certificato di laurea o di dottorato con votazione;
·          elaborato in formato word o pdf (se in lingua straniera corredata di traduzione in lingua italiana);
·          breve sintesi dell’elaborato stesso (max 7000 battute spazi inclusi).

Al fine di verificare l’esito positivo dell’invio della documentazione e la corretta presentazione delle domande stesse, i candidati riceveranno conferma via email entro 4gg lavorativi.

PREMIAZIONE
Il giudizio insindacabile sarà emesso da un Comitato di valutazione costituito presso la Fondazione Marco Vigorelli.
La Commissione si riserva di non procedere all’assegnazione del premio per mancanza di concorrenti ovvero perché nessuna delle tesi è stata riconosciuta meritevole. I lavori presentati non saranno restituiti.

What's Wrong With Facebook's Business Model And Innovation Strategy?

Facebook’s (NASDAQ:FB) acquisition of WhatsApp for a whopping $19 billion dollars demonstrates the company’s determination to remain the leader in social networking, even if that comes at a hefty premium.
At the same time, it reveals a very important limitation in Facebook’s business model: the very assumption that everyone can be a friend with everyone else.
Long before Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook, Aristotle has argued that “true” friendship is governed by a strictly qualitative logic. That is, friendship is a rare spiritual intimacy that can only be shared among a handful of people.
As a result, a person may live an entire life and only possess three or four “real” friends.
